A Thousand Tiny Freedoms by Lisa Haydon

A thousand tiny freedoms
Bloom in the wild lands,
Swim where long boats ease their way,
Soar in the airy heights of the winged.

A thousand tiny freedoms
Live within the feeling heart
Of all our indwelling landscapes,

Waiting to be set free

To fill the space of unbroken shores
And water-way fields
And ether-filled skies.

A Unity
Within and without,
A thousand small joys,
A  convocation of dancing hosts
Around the Unborn Light Itself.

And we shall fly
As sorrows fall
Within the sanguine sea.
A thousand passages
We shall make
Into Day.
